As the sole therapist and director of Umbrella Health and Wellbeing, I prioritise the well-being and safety of children, young people, and adults in every setting where our services are offered. Throughout this policy, the use of "we" and "our" refers to myself as the director and the organisation as a whole, acknowledging my sole responsibility and dedication to safeguarding.

1. Purpose: The purpose of this Safeguarding Policy is to outline our dedication to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of individuals involved in our therapeutic sessions. This policy sets forth our procedures for identifying, reporting, and responding to safeguarding concerns.

2. Principles:  The welfare of participants is our top priority. Every individual has the right to protection from harm, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexuality, or beliefs.
